This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the “Government Hour” in the State Duma.</p> <blockquote> <p>“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Russian foreign agencies are doing everything necessary to ensure that voting abroad will be held at the highest organizational level, so our citizens are able to exercise their constitutional rights,” said the Minister.</p> </blockquote> <p>He also noted that the delegations of international observers from friendly countries and multilateral organizations will come to Russia for the elections, including to territories reunited with our country.</p> <p>The Federation Council approved the date of the Russian presidential election, which will be held on December 7, 2023. The main voting day is March 17. In the Kherson region elections will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024.  In remote areas and in hard-to-reach settlements of Kherson region early voting will be held from February 27 to March 3.</p>
