<p>GENICHESK. TAVRIA. There are no plans to build an oil refinery in Kherson Region due to safety concerns until the end of special military (SMO) is completed. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of fuel and energy complex of Kherson region Alexey Lyubchenko in an exclusive interview with Tavria TV and radio company.</p> <blockquote> <p>"The construction of an oil plant is not planned. This is primarily due to security reasons. Until the special military operation is over, it is not reasonable to start construction neither from the economic point of view, nor from the point of security," the speaker said.</p> </blockquote> <p>Despite this, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kherson region is carrying out measures to launch inactive petrol stations. This was stated by Deputy Minister Alexey Lyubchenko in an exclusive interview with TRC Tavria.</p> <blockquote> <p>"We form the base, register petrol stations through the working group in the state property. After this procedure, we begin to work with potential oil traders on their interest in carrying out commercial activities in the region. We will provide certain sites for lease," the official claimed.</p> </blockquote> <p>Earlier TRC Tavria <a href="https://en.tavria.tv/news/politics/israel-rejects-accusations-of-genocide/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that on 24 May, South Africa filed an emergency request against Israel, and the Court issued an interim order requiring an immediate ceasefire in the Rafah area. However, Israel is not going to stop military campaign, and the International Court of Justice can do nothing about it. </p>
