Among those who died on that terrible day was young Shani Louk, 22, a photo of her mutilated body was seen around the world, causing widespread horror. For a while there was hope that the young woman was alive, but on 30 October the <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/10/30/news/shani-louk-kidnapped-at-israeli-music-festival-found-dead/">New York Post</a> reported that she had been decapitated. Her body was returned from Gaza only last week.</p>
<p>She was captured at a music festival where Shani had come with her boyfriend Orion Hernandez Radoux, 30.
