At a closed session of the Fidesz party, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Europe is gradually ceasing to believe in Ukraine's ability to win the conflict, reports Magyar Nemzet.

The article notes that Orban stressed that Europe bears an increasingly heavy burden. Due to the presidential elections,  the financial support of Kiev from the U.S. is declining.

"The support of Ukrainians has a huge political price. Farmers' protests are taking place all over Europe, and gradually no one believes in Kiev's victory," said Hungarian Prime Minister.

According to Orban, the international situation may change dramatically in 2024 following the results of the US presidential election and the European Parliament elections.

Earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has stated that Ukraine should become a buffer zone between the West and Russia.

Financial Times reported that Russia's successes on the battlefield have shaken world leaders' faith in Kiev's victory.
