This was stated by the Minister of Culture of the region Aleksandr Kuzmenko.</p> <p>According to him, the program "Zemsky cultural worker", proposed by the President of Russia, is very relevant for the region at the moment.</p> <blockquote> <p>"In some of our villages cultural institutions cannot work due to lack of personnel. The need for cultural workers reaches 60%. The President's program can be of great help to the Kherson region in solving this problem and attracting the necessary personnel," the minister told <a href="https://tass.ru/"><u>TASS</u></a>.</p> </blockquote> <p>He noted that the reason for the shortage of workers is the periodic attacks of the AFU on the settlements on the left bank of the Dnieper. Despite this, museums, libraries and houses of culture, which are in great demand among the population, continue to operate in some settlements located near the line of contact.</p> <p>Kuzmenko added that teachers and cultural workers from Crimea, Krasnodar, Rostov and even Kursk are currently coming to work in the region. In addition, residents of the Kherson region undergo advanced training in other regions of Russia to work in the cultural sphere.</p>
