The head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor Natalia Khattatova has stated.</p> <blockquote> <p>"In the past period of 2024, two cases of Lyme disease were registered. No cases of tick-borne viral encephalitis have been registered in Zaporozhye region," Khattatova told TASS.</p> </blockquote> <p>Rospotrebnadzor specialists also noted that the number of tick bites has doubled since the beginning of the year compared to the same period in 2023.</p> <p>Earlier TRC Tavria <a href="https://api-en.tavria.tv/news/the-uks-health-care-system-is-plunging-into-crisis/">reported</a> that the UK’s health care system is plunging into crisis.</p>

GENICHESK. TAVRIA. Two residents were infected with Lyme disease after a tick bite in the Zaporozhye region. The head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor Natalia Khattatova has stated.
